Kalpana said softly to Raghav "Don't get scared of me. My name is Kalpana and I need some help from you."

Raghav cleared his throat and answered "From me? How can I help you?"

Kalpana said in a soft voice (as she did not want to disturb other students in the library) "Yes. I know that you are the topper of your class and I am studying in the first year and am very weak in Mechanics. Can you help me solve these problems?"

She takes out her notebook and requests him to solve the problems.

Raghav felt happy to from her that she is interesting in him teaching her as nobody before had approached him or asked him for help.

They always ignored him as he was poor and shy by nature.

Raghav said with a smile "Ahem... I can solve these equations for you." He took her notebook and started solving the equations.

Kalpana said "But you are solving these equations on your own. How will I understand? Please explain to me the method you are using to solve them. Please..."

Raghav looked up at her and said "Sure. Wait, I'll bring the Mechanics textbook here and explain to you the step-by-step method." Raghav went and brought the textbook and started explaining her.

Kalpana said to herself "This boy is so humble. He does not even know me but is already helping me without asking for anything in return. A true gentleman. I know Mechanics very well but this was the only way of starting a conversation. I hope we become friends this way."

She kept looking at him and kept admiring him.

Day-by-day she went on approaching him and they used to everyday sit together in the library and he used to do her homework and explain to her every sum and she used to feel very happy in his company.

Exams came nearby and Raghav wished Kalpana best of luck for her exams and told her to remember all the formulas and methods.

During the holidays, Kalpana and Raghav went back to their home in Mumbai.

They caught the same bus and Kalpana sat next to Raghav and started interacting with him and the topic was not studies anymore.

Flashback ends...

Kalpana says harshly "Excuse me! Which moments are you talking about Mr. Singhania? I don't even know you nor am interested in knowing a person like you. You are just a...."

Kalpana does not complete her sentence as she sees Prem approaching them.

Prem calls for Kalpana and notices Raghav talking to her. He immediately gets furious on seeing him and holds him by his collar saying "You have come here again. How dare you entire my house? Security..."

Raghav says in a firm voice "Leave my collar."

Prem looks surprised with his attitude and Raghav repeats his words "Leave my collar. Else you have to pay for it."

Prem says "Oh really? Pay for what? This is my house and a beggar like you is coming here and telling me what to do. I'll make your state the same as I did 5 years back."

Raghav calls out for the security and the guards come and catch Prem pushing him away from Raghav.

Prem feels stunned to know that instead of listening to him, the guards are listening to Raghav. He says "How dare you? How can you guards touch me? You both forgot that I am your boss?"

They reply saying "Now you are not our boss Prem baba. Raghav is the new owner of this house and he has hired us as his guards."

Chapter 3e:

Prem looks astonished at Raghav and thinks "This means Raghav is the owner of RS industries? RS means Raghav Singhania? How is it possible? How did this chawl fellow become so rich to afford our property worth over 100 crores?"

Raghav says "Now you got it clear Mr. Prem Kapoor. This place is now owned solely by me and you are standing in my premises. Get your things packed soon else I will order for you and your family to be physically kicked out from this place."

Kalpana hears this and wonders "This is not the Raghav I knew. How come he has become so cruel to me and my family that he has made us beggars today? How can he be so mean? The person who I loved so much and who never even hurt any insect in his life and was so humble to everyone is now so rude and heartless."

She cries and walks away taking her luggage with her.
