RagNa Love Stories: Ragna SS: Love&Revenge (A battle between lovers) Chapter 4

Kalpana turns away with her luggage and keeps it at the entrance of the Kapoor house.

Raghav looks at her and feels sorry with the way he has to behave with her but his hatred for her family members was so much that he could not help but end up hurting her.

He says to himself "I wish Kalpana that things would be the same as before and we would be friends but I just cannot see the hatred for me in your eyes where once I used to see only love and care for me. My love for you will never fade no matter what happens."

Kalpana looks back at Raghav and notices that he is still standing next to the car and looking in the opposite direction.

She says to herself "Raghav, I always wished that you stay the same you were 5 years back but today I can only see hatred for me in your eyes. You said that you will never change and always be with me, whether in good time or in bad times, but today you only are responsible for my ill fate."

FLASHBACK STARTS...

While travelling in the bus and going back home, Kalpana caught Raghav's hand thanking for teaching her Mechanics and saying that her exams went very well. Raghav felt uncomfortable with the touch and removed his hand from Kalpana's hand and thanked her for her gesture.

Kalpana said in her mind "Raghav is so shy. How should I make him open up? For so many months we are talking to each other but every time, he only talks about studies and when I try to divert the topic as well, he brings the talk back to studies."

While talking to him, Kalpana noticed that Raghav was looking at his watch repeatedly and was wiping his tears.

Kalpana said "Raghav, what happened? Why are you looking so sad? You should be happy that you are meeting your family after so long."

Raghav said "Yeah! I am very happy to meet my parents after almost a year and can't wait for the moment I will see them."

Kalpana said "You are so lucky Raghav. At least you got a reason to be happy. I wish I too was so lucky like you.

Raghav said "Why are you saying this Kalpana? You have such a big family and there are so many people in your house. You are very lucky to have such a family and have all the amenities unlike me who lives in such a small house and my parents work so hard so that we eat food two times a day and pay for my studies."

Kalpana said "No Raghav, I am not lucky. Yes, I have a big family and there are over 10 maids in my house but everyone is so busy in their own work that they do not have any times for me. Whenever I go to my house, my dad is either busy in his office work or is on a business trip. My brother never talks to me nicely and keeps scolding me for anything I do. My aunt is busier in her spa appointments and kitty parties.”

She takes a breath and continues “My mom expired three years ago while suffering from a prolonged illness and during her last days, dad was busy in his meeting and did not even have the time to spend with her and she kept missing him and died without seeing his face. I really miss her. I feel so out of place in my house and so I just go and sit in my room and nobody even comes and talks two words with me. I spend my days in isolation and watch television or surf the internet but after all how much time can I spend in one corner and have no one to talk to. You are lucky that you got parents who take care of you so much and even though you live in a small house, you'll share such a strong bond. If I had to choose my life or yours, I would choose your life."

Kalpana started crying saying this.

Raghav held Kalpana’s hand and said "Please don't cry Kalpana. I used to feel that rich people have the best life but never knew that they feel lonely but I can understand how it feels to feel lonely as people do not talk to me in the hostel as they find me a nerd."

Kalpana said "No, you are not at all a nerd. You are really very cute and kind hearted. Infact, in the entire college and hostel, I could only find a true friend in you as I always found my friend interacting with me because of my status and not because they liked me. You helped me with my studies without even knowing me well. That should you are such a good human being. Will you become my friend?"

She extended her hand towards Raghav.

Raghav accepted her as a friend and said "Thanks Kalpana for finding me worthy of being your friend. You are my only friend I have ever made and you will always be my friend."

Raghav took Kalpana to his house and introduced her to his parents.

Kalpana loved meeting his parents and on the first day itself, she shared a good bond with Gauri and loved the food Gauri served her and the besan ka ladoos she made.

Gauri packed the ladoos for Kalpana and Kalpana hugged her saying that she found a mother in her.

Kalpana touched her feet and Vikram's feet and left.

Raghav and Kalpana kept meeting each other during the holidays and Kalpana brought him to her house but Prem who was present in the house did not entertain him inside as from his appearance, he appeared from the chawl and also scolded Kalpana for bringing Raghav in the house and having such low class friends.

Kalpana felt ashamed of Prem's behavior with Raghav and decided to meet him before they leave for Panchgini but when she went to his house, she found that he already left from there. She felt that he was avoiding her for Prem's behavior.
