An hour passed by...

I moves my hands and I could hear few whispers around me. I tried to open my eyes but my eyes were paining a lot as I had been crying a lot and they felt heavy.

I finally managed to open my eyes slowly and saw a blurred image before me. As I kept opening my eyes, the image turned into a man who had scars all over his face. He looked scary as those scars started growing big and it suddenly burst.

I started screaming and closed my face with fright. I did not want to again witness something horrifying.

Someone started grabbing hold of my hands and I kept screaming out of fear "Leave me. No...Please leave me...Don't do this to me...Please...."

The hand kept holding me tight and I did not want to open my eyes but a voice made me stop crying and I finally opened my eyes which made me astonished.

"Kalpi...Kalpi...What are you doing? Why are you getting scared of me?" The voice said and it took me few moments to realize that it was Raghav.

"Ragh....Raghav...." I hugged him tight and cried my heart out saying "Raghav, where were you?"

"What happened love? Why did you do this to yourself?" Raghav asked with concern.

Raghav held my shoulders and cupped my face asking me "Why are you so scared? Tell me what happened?"

My eyes were filled with tears and I started stammering saying "Those....That...When you went Raghav....Please save me." I caught his shirt tight and he caressed my back.

"Look at me. Why are you so scared? Look what have you done to yourself. You have scares all over your hands, neck and here on your face too. Why did you do this? Why?" Raghav asked and I looked at myself and noticed that my hands were bandaged.

"See what you did Kalpi. Doctor said that you scratched and hurt yourself with your nails to an extent that your skin has torn completely. I can't see you like this. The doctor has bandaged your hands as it was bleeding. See your nails. It still has the skin that you chipped off your body. Why Kalpi? What had happened? Tell me."

I started screaming as my body was paining a lot. Raghav made me rest on the pillow and asked me again about it and I told him what I had just witnessed few hours back.

"What bees?" Rajesh came in with a tray containing a glass of water and medicines.

I looked at Raghav who was facing Rajesh. He kept the tray on the table and Raghav said "Bees? How can it be possible Kalpi? When I came here, I saw nothing. I heard your scream and got down from the car and came rushing to see if you are fine. I knocked the door but you dint open it and instead started screaming asking me to go away. After few moments, you stopped screaming which made me more tensed and the door was locked from inside due to which I broke it open and saw you lying on the floor. Your entire body was completely bruised and you were bleeding. I called up the doctor and he bandaged you. There were no creatures, no bees at all."

"What? I myself saw those bees Raghav. Believe me. I saw over thousands of bees and they keep creeping all over my body and left me breathless. I was pleading for my life as I felt I was going to die. They were all on top of me Raghav, believe me."

"I believe you Kalpi but the fact is I saw nothing in the house when I entered. May be you must have seen few bees as the jungle is nearby. They must have entered from there and..."

"No Raghav they dint come from there. In fact I saw a bee coming to life from the book I was reading and..."

Raghav cut me saying "Kalpi, you take some rest. I guess the medicine is working on you and so you are feeling dizzy. Take some rest."

Raghav did not believe me that day and I dint know how to explain to him the feeling and pain I was going through. I was sure what I had seen was real but nobody believed me.

I went to sleep but I noticed Rajeev staring at me as if he knew what had happened but I was too weak to ask him anything and my body was in pain.

I don't know what had happened but when I noticed my wounds, they weren't caused due to bees but I had injured my own self. How was that even possible when I felt the bees all over my body as they kept biting me.

5 days had passed by and I had not completely recovered from my injuries. I was too weak to even get off the bed and whenever I needed go to the washroom, it was Raghav who used to pick me up in his arms and leave me outside the washroom. He used to close the door from outside and then again pick me up and place me on the bed gently.

Raghav was always there for me 24/7 and he did not even go to office to take care of me. He used to apply medicine on my wounds, give me my tablets, massage my head so that I could fall asleep and do everything possible for me to make me feel special.

I always missed my parent's love but Ragahv fulfilled my wish by treating me as his child and giving me the utmost care and attention.

Two days later...

Raghav looked tense while giving me my medicines. He pretended to be fine before me but I could see the worry in his eyes.

"What happened Raghav? You won't share it with me?" I asked with a concern. At first Raghav tried to change the topic but then he told me the exact reason for his worry.

Raghav had to attend a business meeting which could give the company a big project and it would help him start a new business overseas but at the same time, he did not want to leave me alone. I could not see him in this state as I know how much his work matters to him as this has been the only way he has kept himself busy and has given his work his 100% until I came into his life.

I knew that even if I would force him, he wouldn't listen to me and leave me alone so I told him to take me along to the office as now I was quite well and wanted to start my work again. He finally agreed and we started working together again in the office.

The office brought back old memories which we shared together. The place where I came across a shy and introvert Raghav Singhania who had so much love filled within him. I was missing these moments a lot and it was a good decision taken by me to go back to the office.

Raghav and I started working together and he made me work in his cabin itself where we shared the same table. He just gave me a laptop and very little work to do purposely as he knew I couldn't handle a lot of work pressure and he also was aware that if he did not give me any work, I would be very angry with him.

Work was awesome as I just loved my job. Writing wasn't my passion but after working here, it just came to me and Raghav always was present to motivate me.

I never wanted to go back home as the feeling wasn't the same due to what I had gone through and witnessed in the past few days but being with Raghav for 24 hours made me overcome my fear.

The next morning...

I woke up at 4:00 a.m. and took blessing of Laxmi maa and prayed that I and Raghav have a happy and successful marriage and also since it was my birthday, I offered flowers to God. I decided to bless the entire house on this special day to make it pure and peaceful.
