I did not realize
when I reached the Singhania Mansion gate. I stopped there and wondered how
long have I been walking and asking myself these questions. May be I wanted to
meet Raghav and tell him that I will never leave him alone and want to spend my
entire life with him.
I walked few steps
ahead and saw a shadow of a person. I walked towards the shadow and asked
"Who are you?" I did not get any answer. I touched the person's
shoulder and he turned to face me. I saw his face and he was none other than
Raghav. I was so happy to see him as if it had been years since I had seen him
and I just hugged him saying "I will never ever leave you Raghav. I will
always be with you. I don't want to leave you alone Raghav. Never ever."
I broke the hug as I
got no response. I caressed his face and he finally reacted. He took my hands
in his and kissed my hands. I smiled as tears kept rolling down my cheeks. He
kissed me on my forehead and said "Will you marry me Kalpana?"
I was shocked to
hear this and did not believe my ears. Was he actually asking me to marry him?
The day I have been waiting for months had finally arrived. I took no time to
respond and said "Yes. I will."
He hugged me and I
hugged him back. I noticed two eyes watching us from a distance. It was Rajesh
who was keeping an eye on us and was not happy watching us hug each other. Why
was he looking at us? He was just a caretaker and if he loves Raghav, he should
be happy that his master is happy but he looked quite unhappy to see us
together.

Chapter 5b:
Two weeks passed by
and I and Raghav finally got married in the temple. My uncle, aunt and Prem
were happy with this marriage and my uncle gave me an idol of Laxmi maa to
protect me and keep me and Raghav always happy.
I was extremely
excited and happy as now I was Kalpana Raghav Singhania, the wife of Raghav
Singhania and from today his ever happiness and sorrow will be shared by me. I
wanted to give him all the happiness of this world and take away his sorrow.
Rajesh wasn't too
happy with this marriage and he refused to enter the temple and witness our
marriage as well but Raghav insisted that he come and attend the ceremony and
so he stood far away from the holy place and witnessed the ceremony. I invited
his wife and Sonia as well and they met him and spent some time with him in the
temple after which we left for the mansion. It would be the first time I
entered the house as a bride.
The car stopped at
the gate and I noticed the entire place decorated with flowers and today the
mansion looked so elegant that I could not get my eyes off it.
I put my foot in the
house and Rajesh welcomed me and Raghav inside. As I entered the house and said
to myself that no matter what happened, I will never leave Raghav's hand.
It was our first
night and Raghav gifted me a beautiful diamond necklace as a gift. I kissed his
forehead and said "You are the biggest and most priceless gift I can ever
own. I don't need anything else." Saying this he gave me a peck on my lips
and the night passed by. It was the most beautiful night of my life and an
unforgettable one for sure. We were so much in love that we did not know that
someone was watching us from the window. Was it Rajesh or someone else?
The next morning I
got up from the bed and went to take a shower in the bathroom. Raghav was fast
sleep in the bed and I just smiled looking at him sleep like a baby. I came out
all wet and grabbed a dress from my suitcase and opened the door. I noticed Rajesh
standing outside the door and I jerked to see him. I just did not understand
from when he was standing outside and trying to listen what was going on inside
our room. It was so shameful.
"What do you
want?" I said roughly.
"Nothing. I
just wanted to ask if Raghav baba needs anything. He normally wakes up by this
time but today...."
"But today is
another day. I guess you have forgotten that he is married and now he has a
wife to look after him." I sounded a bit rude and I never speak like this
to anyone but today I just could not stop myself from back answering him.
Rajesh looked
angrily at me and left without saying anything. I wanted to apologize for my
behavior but I stopped myself.
I wanted to pray
before God as I do it every morning after waking up and before having my
breakfast but I could not find any temple nor a god's idol in the entire house.
It was such a big house but there was not a single idol anywhere. I walked
upstairs but still there was nothing. I stopped in front of a room which was
locked from outside and I wondered why the room was locked as all other rooms
were kept open. I went near it when I heard "Don't go there."
I turned myself to
face the person. It was Rajesh and he came near me and said "Don't go near
this room."
"Why?" I
asked and he said "It's better you don't ask any question as the answers
will be to tough for me to give." I just kept looking at him as he left.
While having
breakfast, I asked Raghav about the locked room. He looked at me and his eyes
teared up as he said "My mother was killed in that room."
I kept mum after
hearing this and put my hand on his shoulder as he was not able to eat after
saying this. Rajesh kept looking at me as if he is blaming me for Raghav's
state but I was not aware about the room nor was he going to tell me about it.
After an hour,
Raghav left for office and I did not accompany him. I wanted to stay back and
look after the house or may be I wanted to find the secret behind Rajesh's
weird behavior and find the mystery behind it.
I checked every
place of the house and entered each room but I could notice Rajesh following me
throughout the day. He was watching me but he could not tell me anything as
Raghav had ordered him to let me do whatever I want.
"Why is there
no temple in this house?" I asked Rajesh.
"Raghav baba is
an atheist and so there is no idol nor any temple here." He said firmly.
I called up Raghav
and took permission to make space for Laxmi maa in the house and he willingly
told me to do whatever I wanted. I made a small place in the main hall and
called a priest to bless the place. I put Laxmi maa's idol there and prayed
before it asking her to let all the evil souls leave this place.
