Prem pushed Raghav and said "Respect and for
roadside people like you and your father? My foot. You people only deserve to
beg on the road and wash my shoes." He pushed him again and said
"Beggars like you think that they got a job, a rich girl, so they can
become rich so easily?" He pulled him by his shirt, took out his purse and
removed a 1 rupee coin and said "You only deserve this coin. I'll soon get
you and your family out from this chawl as well and leave you for begging on
the road."
Prem got into his car and drove in a puddle of water,
thus splashing the muddy water on Raghav's face and shirt, and left.
Raghav looked at the car, dusted his shirt and
removed the muddy water from his face and then rushed to his dad.
They took him to the doctor and the doctor bandaged
his head telling Raghav that his dad needed rest at home.
Kalpana went to Raghav's house the next day and found
his door locked.

Kalpana enters the lift and gets down at the first
floor.
She searches for the induction room and knocks the
door and enters the dark room.
She notices that Raghav is explaining a flow chart to
the employees and his gaze suddenly falls on her.
All the employees look at each other and whisper
"Sir will scold this girl as well how he scolded the other girl who came
at 9: 05 a.m. He fired that girl from the job just for coming 5 minutes late
and this girl has come after 45 minutes. Poor girl will lose her job now as sir
hates late comers."
Raghav looks at the employees and says "Silence
all of you. If anyone is interested in chatting, they can leave now. The person
will get their termination letter at their desk." All the employees stop
discussing.
Raghav looks at his watch and Kalpana says
"Sorry sir for coming late. Can I come in?"
Raghav says "Your 45 minutes late Miss Kalpana
Kapoor."
Kalpana looks at him and then at the employees and
feels that she should leave before she is humiliated in front of all of them.
She turns to leave when Raghav says "Get in."
Kalpana looks at Raghav with a surprise and he
repeats "Get in the room. The next lecture is about punctuality and you
need to attend it."
Kalpana enters the room and searches for a seat.
Since the room is dark and all the seats are almost filled, she takes time to
search for a seat and Raghav says in a loud voice "Third row, second seat
is empty. Sit fast and don't waste my time."
Kalpana goes and takes the seat.
During the lecture, Raghav explains the employees how
he has made RS industries to reach this level in just 3 years and his eyes keep
looking at Kalpana as he wants her to hear what he is trying to explain her. He
says "It has not been an easy journey to reach this level. I started off
as a junior Software Developer in Kapoor Industries and now I am the CEO of RS
industries." Kalpana looks up at Raghav as she remembers how she
recommended Raghav to Sahil and tells herself "I wish I had not introduced
him to my dad. Today, because of me, dad is suffering. All because of me."
She scratches the file in her hand taking out her frustration and Raghav says
"Miss Kalpana, are you listening to me?"
Kalpana gets up from the seat and says "Yes
sir."
Raghav says "Sit down and your eyes should be on
the board and not on your file."
Kalpana nods her head in an approval and sits down.
Three hours pass by and Raghav shuts off the
projector and asks everyone to leave for lunch.
Kalpana prefers to sit in the room and have her lunch
but Raghav tells her to have it in the canteen. While saying this Raghav
recollects the days he and Kalpana used to eat food in the canteen while
Kalpana remains unmoved by his words and leaves.
Kalpana has her lunch in the canteen and over hears
other employees discussing about her.
They say "Don't know why Raghav sir did not fire
her? She came so late for the induction and he did not tell her anything. It's
so surprising."
The old employees say "I have been working here
for six months and I have never seen Raghav sir excusing any employee and even
if they do a single mistake, he fires them on the spot. I don't get what's so
special in this new girl that she is being treated so royally."
Kalpana thinks "Nothing is special in me but
Raghav is only doing this to break me. He hates me the most and hence did not
tell me anything as he wanted me to know how he has established this big
empire. My dad gave him a job and today he left him jobless. How selfish and
ungrateful he can be?"
All the employees leave the canteen and enter the
induction room.
Kalpana too leaves the canteen and bumps into Raghav.
She is about to fall when Raghav holds her hand
protecting her from falling while her lunch box falls on the ground.
Raghav looks into her eyes and finds them moist. He
feels that may be because he spoke to her rudely during the lecture, she must
be hurt.
He says "I am sorry that I spoke to you rudely
during the lecture. I did not mean to hurt you but...."
