Kalpana looks at her hand and remembers the way
Raghav bandaged it taking a lot of care so that she does not get any pain.
Payal makes chapatis for the Kapoors and Prem gets
angry looking at the size of the chapatis. Prem says "This is called a
chapati. Burned and so hard. You want me to lose my teeth by eating this
trash."
Sahil looks at Prem and says "Respect your aunt
Prem. She is elder to you. Learn to talk."
Payal says "No, say bad things about me and my
food. After all, I am trying cooking food for the first time. What did I know
that we would land up in this chawl due to your foolishness?"
Prem says "Enough aunty. Before calling me a
fool, look at yourself. What have you done for the house till today except
wasting dad's money in beauty parlors and kitty parties?"
Payal says "See bhaiya, how rudely Prem is
talking to me."
Kalpana says "Aunty, ignore him and let's eat
food. The food is nice."
Payal says "I knew that only you would like my
food. You are my best niece. Now tell me how your day at work was. Your
induction was over yesterday na?"
Kalpana looks down and says "Yeah, it was
good."
Payal says "BTW, what's your boss's name?"
Kalpana looks at her and widens her as she cannot
tell her the truth. Sahil also asks "Yeah, what's your boss's name? I must
be knowing him."
Kalpana hesitates at first and then answers
"Samar Raizada."
Prem says "Now who's Samar? Never heard of this
business man before? Might be a new person. You will get a rubbish company only
to work in as who else would employee you without any experience and
knowledge."
Kalpana says "At least my company is better than
yours. I don't depend on my dad's money and have an identity of my own. What
have you done for the family except fighting and being rude to me and your
employees?"
Prem says "How dare you talk to me like this? I
am elder to you and now just because you got a small job, you think you can
back answer me like this?" He raises his hand to slap her and Sahil holds
his hand saying "Stop it Prem. She is your sister and younger to you. You
started taunting her first and now just control yourself. Say sorry to her
now."
Prem looks at Sahil with a surprise and says "I?
Why should I say sorry dad? She started it first."
Kalpana says "No dad, let it be. I'll say sorry
as always it will be only my mistake. Sorry Prem for being rude." She
wipes her tears, washes her hand, takes her pillow, goes in a corner and falls
asleep.
Kalpana goes to sleep with a hungry stomach as due to
the fight, she could not eat her food. She feels bad that nobody, not even her
dad bothered to ask her about the wound on her hand. She felt that Raghav being
an outsider cared for her more than her own family.
Kalpana does not go to office for a week as Raghav
has given her a week off. Raghav keeps looking at Kalpana's room from the
curtains and feels bad that he has not been able to see her for a week.
A week passes by...
Kalpana enters her cabin and Raghav comes in from
behind. He says "Welcome back Kalpana."
Kalpana turns behind with a surprise and says
"Good morning Sir."
Raghav says "How is your hand now? Is it still
paining?"
Kalpana says "No. It's fine. Sir, what's my work
for today?"
Raghav says "Yeah, Sammy will be in any time
soon. He will tell you your work. Let me know if you need anything and yes, the
canteen number is on your desk. Order for anything you want to eat till
then."
After an hour, Sammy comes to the office and informs
Raghav about the Pune project.
