Gauri, Raghav and Mira rush towards Kalpana and pick her up from the ground and check if she is fine. They realize that it was not Kalpana who was shot but it was Prem as Prem collapses on the floor. Sahil had grabbed the gun of the police officer and fired it at Prem and the bullet hit him in his chest.

"Dad...You..." Prem says while holding his chest and the officer grabs hold of the gun from Sahil's hand. Sahil stands silently as he notices his son lying in a pool of blood and unable to speak out.

Sahil walks towards Kalpana and asks her "You're fine my child?" Tears start falling from his eyes and Kalpana says "Dad...You shot Prem?"

Sahil wipes his tears and says "Yes. He deserves it. It's my mistake that I brought him up so badly...So badly that today he wanted to kill his own sister...My child. I am the worst father anyone can have...I deserve to die." He starts hitting his head and Kalpana holds his hands "No dad...Don't punish yourself. Please..."

Mira rushes to her parents and hugs them tightly. Her mother Shails kisses her face asking her if she is fine and the police officer approaches Sahil and Prem to arrest them.

Sahil asks the officer for a minute as he wants to apologize for his sins. He joins his hands before Gauri and Raghav and apologizes for his sins and says "I'm sorry...For me, my children are my life and today my own child was killing my other child. This made me realize that whatever I earned till today, I earned it for my children but I myself dint give my children the love and care they wanted. I ignored them as I wanted to make money and because of this, my one child Kalpana had to live as an orphan and my son Prem started taking drugs. All my money was not enough to make my son Prem a good human being...But your son Raghav who has always lived in a small house has such a good upbringing. I bribed him to leave my child as I thought he won't be able to give her a secure life but he dint take a penny from me. I hadn't planned to kill him or your husband but Prem...Prem did this all and I tried to cover it up...I know my sins cannot be forgiven but if possible..." Gauri remains silent and Kalpana holds her dad's hands before the officer place the hand cuffs in his hand.

The other constables help Prem to get up and they rush him to the hospital.

A month passes by...

Prem survives and he accepts his crime of raping Tina and then trying to kill her and he also accepts the charges of the murder of Vikram Singhania.

The court announces a life-time imprisonment against Prem Kapoor as the charges against him are proved to be true. Sahil Kapoor is sentenced to 5 years of jail as he destroyed the evidence to save his son Prem Kapoor and then shot him in the presence of the police officer.

The judge removes all the false allegations against Vikram Singhania and announces him as innocent.

The verdict brings a smile on Gauri's face and Tina's parents ask forgiveness from Gauri and Raghav.

Kalpana bids her father as he enters the police jeep. Kalpana decides to stay in the chawl along with her aunt Payal until Sahil is released from jail and she asks Raghav to wait for her as she doesn't want to get married without the consent and presence of her dad. Till then, she continues working with him in his office.

The Government reopens the Municipal school and rechristens it to Vikram Singhania Orphanage School with the consent of the school principal and the students.
