RagNa Love Stories: Ragna SS: Love&Revenge (A battle between lovers) Chapter 26

The owner brings besan ka ladoos and Kalpana eats all of them and Raghav keeps smiling looking at her eating them like a child eats a toffee.

After sometime, Raghav and Kalpana get up and the waiter gives them two jugs to wash their hands. The owner and his wife give them a pamphlet inviting them for a party they are going to organize after 4 days on the occasion of their 25th marriage anniversary.

Raghav and Kalpana bid them good bye and drive off the Pune. The owner's wife holds her husband and says "The couple are so cute." The husband replies "They are not a couple." His wife replies "No they are. I know they are not married but I can see the love between them. When the girl was feeling restless, the boy was feeling the spice and this is real care and love for her that I witnessed. She loves besan ka ladoos and hence he ordered the same for her." The husband replies "Hmmm....In love matters, you are an expert and what I cannot see, you see that instantly.

Raghav gets a call and parks the car in a corner. He says "Hello mom. ...Yeah, I am on my way to Pune. Haan, I just had lunch and ...Hmmm... Will check in the hotel and again have something. Yeah, I have parked the car in the corner and am talking to you on the phone. Yes, will drive safely only... Haan, OK OK. Yeah, she's fine." Kalpana looks at him and realizes that his mom is asking about her. Raghav looks at her and feels that she may not be interested in talking to his mom and says "Mom, I'll call you up later. Bye."

After 2 and a half hours, Raghav and Kalpana reach Pune. He removes his car keys and notices the pamphlets of the dhaba. He says to himself "No clue if we can attend this party."

Raghav keeps the pamphlets in his drawer and gets off the car. Kalpana too gets down and they both enter the hotel.

The manager gives them their room keys and they both go to their room to freshen up before the meeting that is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Kalpana sits in her room and checks her mobile phone.

It makes her feel bad that nobody called her up, nor her dad nor her aunt to check if she was fine or not.

She decides to herself call Payal and inform her that she has reached Pune.

Payal who is chitchatting with few ladies of the chawl picks up her phone, tells her to take care and disconnects the call stating that she is busy and needs to prepare dinner for Sahil and Prem.

Kalpana opens the laptop which Raghav had sent to her room and studies the presentation to prepare for the meeting. She gets ready for the meeting and comes out of the room. She dashes into Raghav and says "Sorry sir."

He replies "You are ready for the meeting? I sent the latest quotes and made a few changes as well in the presentation I had shown you yesterday." She says "Yes sir. I checked all the changes and have made notes as well."

The both enter the conference room and Raghav greets the foreign delegates. They start the meeting and Kalpana gets up to give the final presentation after Raghav.

She fumbles in between as it's her first presentation and the delegates start talking to each other wondering what kind of an employee is she who is getting so nervous.

Raghav notices this and stands near Kalpana who is almost in tears as she forgets all the matter she had studied and hears the conversation of the delegates. He declares a break of 15 minutes and the delegates leave the room.

Raghav makes Kalpana to sit down and gives her a glass of water to drink and make her calm down.

Raghav says "It's OK. This is your first presentation and making mistakes is fine."

Kalpana looks at him with tears in her eyes and says "I can't give this presentation. I can't talk in front of so many people. Just can't."

Raghav says "You can Kalpi. Just believe in yourself."

Kalpana says "It's Kalpana sir. I am not confident enough to give this presentation. You should have brought another employee with you."

Raghav says "I know what to do and what not to do. You're just getting nervous because it's your first presentation, that's it. You need to have confidence in yourself and consider it as a do or die situation. If you don't start today, you can never start it tomorrow as well. Have faith in yourself and your work. I don't want any more excuses Miss Kalpana Kapoor. 10 minutes are left still for the break to get over. Make it fast."

Kalpana looks at him as he leaves the room and thinks "May be he is right. I just need to say whatever I know about the project, that's it. I should consider that nobody is sitting in front of me and then only I will be able to talk in front of them."

She drinks the glass of water and the delegates come in after 10 minutes.

Kalpana takes a deep breath and starts the presentation. She talks slowly so that they are able to understand but gets nervous as well.

After half an hour, she completes her presentation and the delegates discuss among themselves. She goes and takes the chair near Raghav who whispers "It was good enough."

Finally the delegates finish discussing and tell Raghav that the contract is his.
