Rajesh's POV:
23 years back...
I was working with the Singhania family for years and I and Vikram sir was
almost of the same age.
It was one day when, Rakesh Verma (the owner of Verma Industries) had
invited Vikram sir to Pune to sign a partnership contract. Vikram visited the
city and met Melica Gonsalves who was working as Rakesh's secretary. In a
week's time, Vikram found a soul mate in Melica and got married to her in spite
of knowing that she had an illegitimate child named Justin with her.
Vikram brought Melica and a 5-year-old Justin to his house and gave him
new name, Raghav Singhania.
After few months, Vikram sir got to know about Raghav's real father and he
was none other than Rakesh Verma. Melica madam had an affair with him and he
promised her that he would get married to her but he cheated her and got
married to another woman leaving a pregnant Melica alone in her life.
Vikram sir wasn't able to digest this truth and he kept quarreling with
Melica madam as Rakesh used to often come to meet Raghav baba and he doubted
that she might be still having an affair with him which was untrue. He had
warned Melica madam to not let Rakesh in his house again.
He started feeling so lonely that he found a friend in books and he kept
reading dark stories about Cannibals and Flesh Eaters.
One day, Vikram sir saw Rakesh leaving the mansion and his temper was
uncontrollable. He entered his bedroom and kept quarreling with her.
Melica madam tried to make him understand that Rakesh had only come to say
that he was shifting to Australia forever but Vikram sir did not believe her
and while fighting, he pushed her with force and her head hit the wall and she
died on the spot.
He kept her body for days in a cupboard and it was Raghav baba who had
witnessed his mother's death. He also saw how Vikram sir had cut his mother's
body into pieces and he had stored it in the refrigerator. Vikram kept feeding
on the body parts and slowly started turning into a cannibal.
Raghav started sitting in his room all alone and when I used to try to
feed him, he used to hug me in fear and start trembling and saying "Mom's
leg, her eyes, her fingers...All are cut..." . He tried to tell me what he
saw but I wasn't able to understand anything. I called a doctor as well but
Raghav baba's condition became worse.
I tried to ask Vikram sir about Melica madam but he used to insult me
instead of answering me.
Epilogue Part 3:
After 3 days....
An employee from Vikram sir's office came to the house and I made him wait
in the hall itself and went to the kitchen to bring him some water.
He heard a noise from the bedroom and noticed Vikram sir feeding on a
liver piece. He noticed blood on Vikram sir's shirt and he doubted something
strange in his behavior. He was abnormal and had turned into a cannibal.
The employee called up the police and when Raghav baba saw the police
officers in the mansion, he rushed towards me and hugged me. He told the police
officers about his mother's body and they caught hold of Vikram.
In an attempt to save himself, Vikram pointed the gun on Raghav baba by
stealing an officers gun but the officers managed to shoot him dead.
Raghav baba kept watching the dead body of his dad who was lying on the
floor and there was an unknown happiness within him when he saw his mother's
killer dead.
Raghav baba being an orphan then, was sent to the orphanage and I started
living with my wife and Sonia.
I used to call him everyday but he sounded very low and his loneliness had
become his biggest enemy.
I went to visit him in the orphanage and was astonished to see my Raghav
baba feeding on his friend's body. His mouth was covered with blood and he had
eaten up his friend's heart and liver. I puked after watching this and to save
my baba, I buried the body in an unknown place and took him out of the
orphanage.
In few weeks, Raghav baba started behaving abnormal and he was talking
like his dad , Vikram. It was mainly during the night that he started getting
out of control and in the day time, he used to behave as a normal individual
unaware of what he was like in the night.
His condition started becoming worse in few years and he started killing
any person who used to pass by the mansion. People started finding people going
missing and they reported the matter to the police but the police were not able
to find any clue about the missing persons and shut the case.
People started considering this house as a haunted house and I never let
them know abut Raghav's illness.
Raghav was possessed by Vikram's soul and he turned into a dangerous
cannibal. His voice, behavior and dressing style was completely like Vikram
sir.
One day, I did not find any meat for him and he attacked me. He tore my
face and damaged my skin completely. These marks everyone can see on my face is
because of Raghav and people used to think that I was evil.
I and Raghav baba were atheists but still I tried to cure his illness by
visiting priests and performing pujas but nothing worked and Raghav remained
the same. In the day time, he was the business tycoon, Raghav Singhania, but in
the night he was a monster, Vikram Singhania.
I even hid his mother's and father's photographs in the outhouse so that
he does not remember that unfortunate night.
I never even let my wife and Sonia know the truth about Raghav.
One day, your brother had come to this mansion and I made him leave before
the cannibal woke up within Raghav and when Raghav called him inside the house,
I feared that he would feed on him. Fortunately, your brother left that day.
When you came in this house Kalpana, I tried to make you also leave and
did not want to entertain you but I noticed Raghav having a soft corner for
you.
I felt happy to see Raghav baba smile after a long time and he found a
friend and soul mate in you but only one fear used to scare me that he might
attack you as well.
One day, Raghav baba was feeling hungry and I could not find him any food
to eat. His hunger started increasing and when I tried to stop him, he pushed
me from the staircase and I sprained my ankle.
He left the house and started searching for a victim and that day you met
him. I was scared when I saw you there but when Raghav baba saw you, the
monster in him became calm and he proposed to you from for marriage. I saw a hope that day and
felt that may be it was you who could make Raghav a normal human being.
I am sorry beta for being rude to you at times, but it was only my fear as
I wanted to protect you from the monster in Raghav.

"That night was it Raghav who was following me when I entered the
study room?"
"Yes beta...Raghav was feeding on the meat I bought from the market.
His hands were covered with blood...When he saw you, he wanted to attack you
but I made him calm and asked you to go to your room asap and warned you to not
come out in the night..."
"But Raghav was sleeping besides me that night...Till today I never
noticed him waking up at night..."
Rajesh said "It was because you never paid attention whether he is
there or not besides you...He used to leave while you used to be fast asleep
and he used to come back in the night itself. even that day when you felt that
bees are attacking you, it was your hallucination only...I had brought a
medicine from a priest to cure Raghav...I had filled it in a bottle of water
and had kept it in the fridge but you drank it by mistake...When you said that
you felt as if bees are attacking you, I then realized that the medicine was
making Raghav's condition worse and hence I stopped the medication."
"And Sonia...What happened to her?" I asked and Rajesh's eyes
were filled with tears.
"That night, Sonia was talking to me about her childhood
memories...We were meeting each other after years and I was so thankful of
Raghav to bring her here and convince my wife to send her for the party...He
told me it was you who told him about my family and Sonia...After all the
guests left, Sonia stayed back and you and Raghav did not know about that and
you both were in the bedroom...Sonia was chatting with me for a long time and
then I advised her to go back home...She was leaving the mansion and decided to
reach her to the gate but she insisted to go through the jungle as it would be
a short cut for her...I initially refused but then I decided to walk along with
her...It was my mistake to agree to her and I din't know it was the last day I
would spend with my daughter...We were walking when Raghav came and attacked
her from behind with a knife. He stabbed her in front of me and I tried to hold
his hand and control him but the monster in him had gone out of control...My
daughter died before my eyes and I was lying there helpless...Raghav had
already started to feed on my...My daughter...I wanted to sacrifice myself for
my daughter but it was too late...Raghav then suddenly turned behind and I saw
you watching Raghav from far...I wanted to protect you as I had already lost my
daughter...I followed him and tried to rush before he could reach you...You
were running very fast and hence Raghav stopped following you after sometime
and went back to feed on my child...I noticed you in the middle on the jungle
and hit you on the head with a stick so that you don't get to know about
Raghav's truth...You fainted on the spot...After sometime, I found Raghav lying
besides Sonia's body and I made him lie in the house...He woke up and I told
him that you were in the jungle from where he picked you up and brought you
home..."
"After that day, I decided to bring dead bodies from the nearby
graveyard and feed Raghav with their flesh...I did not want him to kill any
more innocent people..." Rajesh wiped his tears and I tried to console
him.
"I'm sorry uncle...I kept blaming you all this while but...But I
couldn't ever imagine that you were protecting Raghav...But I don't think that
Raghav is possessed by Vikram's soul...It must be a mental illness...We need to
cure him with proper medication...He needs treatment..."
It was morning...
Raghav was lying unconscious in Vikram's room and I called a doctor to
treat him.
The doctor said that Raghav was suffering from Dissociative identity
disorder. Raghav's mom's death, his father killing and feeding on his mom and
his loneliness had made him develop this mental disorder since the age of 6.
If Rajesh would have treated him earlier, Raghav's mental condition would
not have become worse but since Rajesh himself wasn't literate enough, he
believed that Raghav was possessed by Vikram's soul and he started approaching
priests and performing pujas to treat Raghav's illness.
Raghav who could live a normal life and he believed he was abnormal was
completely unaware of his evil side. It took me a lot of courage to tell Raghav
about his sickness and he couldn't bare the truth.
Doctors advised me to admit Raghav in the asylum as his treatment couldn't
be cured at home.
After a month, I got to know about my pregnancy. It was tough for me to
stay in the Singhania mansion and I did not even want Rajesh to be away from
his wife and take care of the mansion.
After getting to know about Raghav's illness, people realized that the
mansion wasn't haunted.
I decide to break down the mansion and make it an orphanage for children.
I felt that since it was the Government's property which was illegally bought
by Vikram's ancestors, it was best to give them the land.
I started living in my aunt's house and I became the CEO of Singhania
Industries while Rajesh lived happily with his wife. Prem and Sonia were no
more and their sacrifice would always be remembered.
My son was born within 6 months and I named him Rohan Singhania. I kept
visiting Raghav in the asylum and his condition began to improve. He was not
attacking nor feeding on meat anymore but he wasn't mentally stable.
Raghav used to recognize me and Rohan and the moment he used to see his
son, he used to run and hug him. His love for me never faded in these 5 years
and today as well I will be visiting him again as it's his son's 4th birthday.
"Mumma...We are going to visit dad today right?" Rohan says
while hugging me and I put down the pen and kiss him on his forehead saying
"Of course! Today your dada will be proud of his small son...After all his
prince has become 4 now."
I am now standing outside the asylum. Rohan goes towards Raghav's room and
it's so good to see the bonding and love of a father and son.
"Doc, how is Raghav's health now? Is he improving?"
"Yes Mr.s Singhania...Your husband is 80% fine now...In fact, I
wanted to contact you 2 days back and give you the good news that you can take
him home now...But I was waiting to monitor him for more 2 days..."
"What do you mean doc? I can take my husband home?" Tears of
happiness start forming in my eyes and I can't believe this news.
"Of course Mrs. Singhania...You can take him home...He is no longer a
cannibal...He is now a normal human being like you and me..."
After few hours, I complete the hospital formalities and leave with Raghav
and Rohan. We enter our new home named RagNa mansion and Raghav holds my hands
saying "Love...Our home?" I rest my head on his shoulder saying
"Yes love...Our house...RagNa mansion...Now there will be no curse, no
sleepless nights and no haunted dreams with us...Only love will stay and only
happiness will be with us..."
