"Umm...John, so tell me when did you first start
dating?"
"How bold is she? She is asking such questions
to John?"
"Oh my...You were only 11 that time. Wow! I wish
I was the lucky girl."
"Grr...Now this is getting more annoying. You
are already married Kalpi and thinking of dating another married man and that
too in front of your husband? How could you?"
Kalpana turns around and puts her hand on Raghav's
chest saying "John...you are so sweet to say this...I wish you were not
married then...Hmmm...Haha!"
"Oh God! I so want to kill someone right
now."
"You are so hot John. It feels so nice hugging
you." Kalpana puts her head on Raghav's chest and hugs him tightly."
"Wow! What days have come of mine? My wife is
hugging me thinking I am some other man. What wrong did I do God that I am
being punished in this way? My house, bedroom, my wife but who is being
remembered, John. Awesome. "
"Hmmm...Ammm..You are a great guy John..."
"Continue...John, you are so sweet, so handsome,
so awesome, and more adjectives? Add those also..."
Raghav finally gets upset and puts ear buds from the
drawer in his ear and covers his face with his pillow.
5:00 a.m.
"Lala...lala....
Tenu main love karti (I love you)...."
Bematlab karti (Without any reason I do)...

Raghav gets up with the sound and rubs his eyes. He
gets a shock to see Kalpana awake and then he checks the time "5:00 a.m.
and Kalpana is getting ready? Why is she singing a song early morning?
Aa...AA...aa... (he starts yawning)"
Kalpana removes the towel from her hair and starts
drying it with the hair dryer.
Raghav gets down the bed and goes towards Kalpana,
hugs her from behind and kisses her ear saying "Good morning
sweetheart."
Kalpana turns behind and removes his hand saying
"Hmmm...Good morning."
Raghav comes in front and sits on the dressing table
saying "Wow! Today my princess is looking so beautiful." Kalpana
widens her eyes and snaps "Don't call me beautiful. According to you,
species like Suhana are beautiful then I prefer to be ugly. I can't match that
witches beauty." She says it with a wide grumpy smile.
Raghav laughs and says "You and Suhana should
have a boxing match and I would love to see who wins." He goes near her
and whispers in her ear "Although I know it will be you who will win the
match." He winks at her and Kalpana says "I wish I could get that
golden opportunity. Your beautiful and sweet girl would look like and continues saying "Ok now atleast
tell me why are you getting ready now? It's only 5."
Kalpana says "I know it's 5 but today is such a
special day. I am going to walk the ramp and that too with my John...I mean
John."
Raghav grumbles in his mind "Damn...Now she
started getting ready for him? It's just been a day she met him and she has
been with me for over 16 years but till today she never dressed up for
me."
Raghav says "But the show is at 9:00 p.m. Still
16 hours left."
Kalpana says "I know but still I need a lot of
time to get my hair done, my manicure, pedicure. Oh God, I have to also do
waxing, eye brows and facial and so many things are left. Raghav, get out now.
Leave me alone."
Raghav gets up from the dressing table and says
"You are so rude Kalpi. Just telling me to get out? You could politely say
the same."
Kalpana takes a deep breath and says "My dear
Raghav, please get out. Do I sound polite now?"
Raghav says "Still it does not sound
polite."
Kalpana gives him an angry look and says "If you
don't leave in a minute, I will physically throw you out of my room. And I mean
it. Hush from here."
Raghav snaps and says "Fine. Get ready for your
John then."
Kalpana snaps saying "Yeah, no need to tell me
that. And why are you angry with John?"
Raghav says "Because you are getting ready for
him instead of me."
Kalpana widens her eyes saying "Excuse me? Why
should I get ready for you? Are you kidding me?" She looks into the mirror
and starts combing her hair with the brush.
Raghav grabs hold of the comb and bangs it on the
table saying "I am your husband, not John. Why do I need to remind you all
the time? You have to only dress up for me."
Kalpana gets up angrily and Raghav takes a step back
"Repeat your words again."
Raghav forgets what he said and replies
"AA.....Nothing, I was just saying..."
Kalpana folds her hands and says "Don't ever
talk to me like that again. You can't order me and if you continue doing this,
I will tell Vikram dad and then you know what will happen."
Raghav says "Are you threatening me?"
Kalpana says "No. I am just warning you."
Raghav snaps saying "That's not done. I mean I
no more get scared of dad. It was when I was 2-13, I used to get scared of him
but now he is my friend."
Kalpana says "Ok. You don't get scared. Wait,
I'm calling dad." Kalpana goes to the door and calls out
"Dad..." when Raghav rushes towards her and puts his hands on her
mouth to stop her.
Kalpana squeals as she can't breathe and Raghav
tightens his grip saying "Ok, I give up. Don't call dad."
Kalpana screams "Em...Emmmm..."
Raghav says "What? I can't hear you but please
don't scream."
Kalpana says in her mind "Idiot, your hand is on
my mouth. How can you hear me?" She jams his leg and he releases his hand
from her mouth and shouts in pain.
"U wanted to kill me ow what? Uhhhh, I can't
breathe."
"I'm so sorry."
"Get out now."
"Please...sorry.."
"Get out."
"Ok."
Raghav leaves the room and closes the door. After few
seconds he opens it and says "But don't think that John will be interested
in you as he is already married."
Kalpana takes her hair brush and throws it on him. It
misses him and falls on the ground. She bangs the door on his face.

Raghav goes to Sammy's room and finds the door open.
He enters the room and finds him sleeping. "I only forgot that it's only
5: 15 a.m. and Sammy must be asleep. He does not get up till 8:00 and I can't
wait till then. I so want to die to talk to someone now. I guess I need to wake
him up although I know that he gets irritated if his sleep is disturbed."
"Sammy....Sammy...Sammy wake up..."
"Ummm...."
"Sammy...It's Raghav...Wake up."
"Haan..."
"Sammy...Wake up...I want to talk to
you..."
"What happened Raghav...I'm feeling very sleepy
now...Come afterwards...."
Raghav touches Sammy's shoulder and tries to wake him
up.
"Raghav...go.."
"Sammy...sammy get up please..."
Raghav tries to tickle him and Sammy starts laughing
and says "Raghav, what are you doing? Hahaha Ouch! Raghav stop." He
starts tickling his feet as well and Sammy moves to the other corner of the
bed.
Raghav thinks of another method to wake Sammy up. He
takes a ear bud from the box and puts it in Sammy's ear. Sammy touches his ear
and throws away the bud in anger. Raghav then pulls out the pillow under
Sammy's face. Sammy feels restless for sometime and then cuddles up putting his
hand under his face for support and again falls asleep.
Raghav bangs his head and says I was Sunaina bhabi
was here.
"Um...Sunaina." Sammy says in his sleep and
starts smiling.
Raghav thinks for a second and shouts "Sunaina,
you're here."
Sammy gets up with a shock and starts looking around
saying "Sunaina.. where...Where is Sunaina?"
Raghav starts laughing and Sammy gives him a confused
look. He rubs his eyes and says "Raghav, you're here? Where is
Sunaina?"
Raghav laughs and says "That was just a prank to
wake you up."
Sammy says "Oh Raghav! Why yaar? Let me
sleep." He takes the bed sheet and tries to cuddle in when Raghav snatches
the bed sheet and gets up saying "Come on Sammy. I want to talk to you.
It's urgent."
Sammy gets up and looks at Raghav saying
"Aaa.....What happened? Again Kalpana said something? Did she bang the
door on your face?"
"How did you know?"
"Well, you looked the same yesterday as well
when she did that so I just guessed it today."
"But today the reason is different. It's
John."
"What? John?"

Kalpana starts laughing and says to herself
"Really Raghav, you're so innocently cute. You just believed that I am
dressing up for John. Lol! As if I have given any importance to another man
besides you." She bites her lower lip and says "Hmmm...BTW, I'm just
enjoying this jealousy side of Raghav. That shows he cares for me. But yeah, I
want to see much much more. He has harassed me a lot with his models and now
it's my turn. I'm just loving this."

"Nice sheera." Sammy smiles and compliments
Sunaina. She smiles and says "It's not sheera but upma."
Raghav laughs and says "Hmm...In love these
things are common. Calling sheera upma and vice versa."
Sammy looks angrily at Raghav for teasing him and
Sunaina starts blushing.
Kalpana finally gets ready after 5 hours and comes
down at 10:00 p.m.
Vikram spits out his tea and looks away. Raghav opens
his mouth and Sammy looks down. Sunaina look at them and then in the direction
where Raghav is looking in. "Kalpi, what have you worn?"
Kalpana comes down and almost slips when Sunaina
holds her asking the same question.
Kalpana puts her dress strap up and says "What
happened bhabi? Am I not looking good? Is this dress quite long?"
"Long, it's so short. Take this duppata and
cover yourself."
"Bhabi, what are you doing? Everyone wears a
dress like this and especially those models. Right Raghav and Sammy sir?"
Raghav coughs and looks at Sammy. Sammy says
"Nice dress Kalpi."
"What nice dress? It's so short." Sunaina
says.
"Yeah, it's quite short." Sammy says.
"Sammy sir, you are with me or bhabi?"
"With you and you." Sammy looks at both and
gets up saying "I'm done with the breakfast and have to make a call.
Excuse me." "Oh God! I'm stuck between my to be wife and to be
sister-in-law."
Kalpana says "Ok bhabi and dad, I need to leave
for office. Today is the show and I can't be late. Bye...." She takes a
spoon of upma and rushes out leaving Raghav angry as she dint bother to even
bid him bye.

After 4 hours of practicing the ramp walk, Kalpana
finally manages to learn it and the trainer compliments her saying "Now
you look and walk like a model."
Kalpana smiles and is about to say something when she
hears "No. Not yet. She still is missing the attitude of being a
model."
They turn to see the person and Kalpana says
"Suhana, you?"
"Yes, me. Am shocked to see that you have been
chosen as the show stopper."
"Really? Manish chose me and I guess he knows
better."
"I left early yesterday and hence he had to take
a decision."
"Well may be. Your loss, my gain."
Kalpana walks off and enters the trial room. She puts
on the bridal dress and is unable to reach the knot behind.
She struggles to tie it but her hands cannot manage
to do it. She feels someone tying the knot and turns behind to see Raghav. He
turns her around and ties the knot. He pulls the string tight making her jerk a
bit and ties the first knot giving her a kiss on her bare back. She closes her
eyes and blushes.
He ties the second knot and then wraps his hands
round her bare stomach leaving a kiss on her shoulder.
She moans his name and he tightens the grip saying
"I know that you dressed up for me since morning."
"Kalpana opens her eyes and turns around to face
him saying "And who told you so?"
Raghav puts his forehead forward to touch her and
whispers "I know that you do everything for me only."
Kalpana closes her eyes and whispers "I don't do
anything for you."
Raghav grabs her closer due to which Kalpana loses
her senses. Raghav says "Admit it. You were getting ready for me
only." He puts her hair strands behind her ear and kisses her forehead.
Kalpana moves her hands from Raghav's waist to his
shoulder. "Say it else..."
"Else?"
"Else... I will ..."
"Else you will?"
"Else I will open your dori again." He puts
his hand on her back and moves to open her dori when she pushes him saying
"Raghav?"
She touches her dori and finds it tied. He grabs her
and says "Say that you were doing all this for me only else I will surely
remove your dori this time. I do what I say."
Raghav puts his hands on her waist and pulls her near
and Kalpana blushes saying "No, I really am interested in John."
Raghav caresses her face and takes her into a
passionate kiss. "Now say it again what you said earlier" he whispers
between the kiss.
"I ...I..."
"Say it Kalpi."
"I did it for you."
He grabs her in a more passionate kiss and she moves
her hands from his waist to his back.
After few moment, she breaks the kiss and says
"But how did you know that it was a prank. I had planned everything so
well." She bites her lower lips in embarrassment.
Raghav laughs and hugs her saying "I am actually
too dumb to realize this but it was Sammy who made me realize it."
"Today morning when I went to his room and told
him about your crush on John, he started laughing and said that you always
hated boys and used to torture them then how suddenly you started having a
crush on John. It was then I realized that this was only your prank."
Kalpana laughs and says "Yeah, it's true that I
hated boys but John is someone special." She winks and Raghav gives her a
peck on her lips saying "On these lips, I only want to hear my name."
Kalpana blushes and says "Oh my possessive
Raghav. OK fine. For me there is no John and no Abhraham, there is only my
Raghav and his Singhania." She starts laughing and Raghav pulls her close
to take her into another kiss when the door opens and Manish remains startled.
He covers his eyes and says "OK, I dint see anything. I'll just go."
Kalpana breaks the hug and Raghav looks confused as the door shuts again.
Kalpana hits Raghav on his shoulder saying "Why
can't you close the door? Always you leave it open and I am left so
embarrassed."
Raghav says "Now what do I know that we will get
caught in this position. And why does Manish always catch us." He starts
laughing and says "Gosh, how many times has he witnessed our love. Man,
what he must be thinking that he has made a mistake by employing a husband and
wife."
Kalpana snaps saying "I made a mistake by
wasting my time with you. First of all my lipstick is all messed up now."
She turns to look at herself and finds her hair messed up and the lipstick was
already rubbed off. "You go now and let me get ready."
Raghav touches her shoulder and she removes it saying
"Not again Raghav. Now just get out." She grabs his hand and pushes
him out of the room and bangs the door.
Raghav stands shocked at her behavior and turns to
get further embarrassed as he notices Sunaina, Sammy and Manish standing in the
hall. He bites his lower lip and says "That...I was just..."
Sammy laughs and says "It happens Raghav. In
love many many things happen." Sunaina and Manish start laughing and
Raghav closes his eyes in embarrassment.
After few hours, the fashion show starts and all the
guests and sponsors start arriving at the venue. They get down from big cars
and the villagers feel proud as this is the first time that such big people
will be witnessing their material and outfits. It was an auspicious day for all
of them.
There were lights everywhere and Manish and Vikram
were busy in welcoming the guests while Sunaina went to arrange the snacks and
drinks. Raghav went to see if the arrangement was perfect and the guests are
comfortable or not. Sammy left to pick up his parents from the airport.
Vikram wore a golden colored Shervani his son Raghav
bought for him. Raghav wore a silk low neck black kurti and a matching white
paijama which made him look damn hot and handsome. Sunaina wore a white saree
with a red border and tied up her hair in a bun and gajras. She dressed up as a
perfect South-indian bahu as Sammy's parents aka uncle and aunt were
south-indians. John got down from his mercedez with his wife. He wore a white
and silver colored kurta and a matching paijama.
Kalpana got ready in her bridal attire and Raghav
could not get his eyes off her and was eagerly waiting her to walk the ramp in
the beautiful red and golden bridal outfit. She platted her hair, wore big and
long heavy golden earrings, chain and a bracelet which came in a set. She put a
red bindi and today she was looking no less than a bride.
Raghav took some time off to go and greet her before
she walks the ramp. He went backstage and whispered in her ear "Today you
are looking stunning in this outfit." Kalpana blushes and says "You
too are looking hot Raghav." "I just want to carry you in my arms and
take the 7 vows and steps again with you." Kalpana widens her eyes and
says "That we have already done once." "Yes, but I want to do it
again with full love and respect. We were too young that time and I don't even
remember what happened. Well, now bhabi and Sammy will be getting married soon
and so we also can get married again on the same day. What say?"
"Anything Raghav, what will day and bhabi say?" "Of course they
will be happy. And in any case we have no proof of our marriage. Now we can
have it with all the ceremonies and it will be a perfect moment for us."
Manish calls Raghav to look after the foreign delegates and he leaves saying
this leaving Kalpana all confused and happy.
Sammy came in with his parents and Sunaina touches
the feet of her to be in-laws. "Beautiful" says Sammy's mother Meena
and Sunaina touches the feet of his father who stops her saying "Don't do
this beta. You are like my daughter and daughters don't touch the feet of
elders in our family but hug each other with love as a daughter's place is in
her father's heart."
