Sunaina and Kalpana sit beside each other and smiles as the woman start playing the song on the drums:

Banno Re Banno Meri Chali Sasuraal Ko (My daughter is leaving for her husband's house)

Ankhiyon Mein Paani De Gayi (Leaving tears in the eyes)

Duaa Mein Meethi Gud Dhaani Le Gayi (And leaving sweet memories)

Sunaina's mom starts crying and caresses her face saying "I'm so happy today. My daughter is getting married and to such a nice boy. I don't know how to express myself. You're so lucky to have such nice in laws and a nice husband."

Samar's mother touches Sunaina's mother's shoulder saying "No dear. Your daughter is not lucky to have us but we are lucky to have such a nice daughter-in-law for our son. If we would have searched the entire world, still we would not be able to find a jewel like your daughter." She kisses Sunaina's forehead while saying this.

Kalpana hits Sunaina with her hands on her shoulder slowly and says "Hmmm...Be careful of your mother-in-law. Today she is saying that she is lucky but tomorrow it will be the reverse. She will cry and say that my daughter-in-law took away my son from me and I am regretting the day they got married."

Kalpana starts laughing and Sunaina widens her eyes saying "Kalpi, what are you saying? Anything." and she starts laughing.

The ladies put haldi on Kalpana and Suhana too comes in and starts applying haldi on her. Kalpana widens her eyes saying "You din't mix anything in this right?"

Suhana's smile fades as the other women look angrily at her. She says "No Kalpana. It's your only haldi. I did not mix anything in it."

Kalpana starts laughing and Sunaina tells her to stop teasing Suhana.

Raghav looks from the second floor at Kalpana and Sunaina laughing. He has too applied haldi and Kalpana is applying the haldi from his bowl. She looks up and notices his gaze on her. She winks at him and he gives her a flying kiss. She too gives him a flying kiss when other women are busy applying haldi on Sunaina.

Sammy stands beside Raghav and watch Sunaina applying the haldi of his bowl. He smiles and says "She is looking so pretty."

"Yeah" Raghav answers.

"Oye, I am talking about Sunaina. She is your bhabi." Sammy says in an angry tone.

"Oh, but I was talking about Kalpana. Anyways, both bhabi and Kalpana are looking beautiful." Raghav smiles and says.

"Hmmm...Kalpana is too looking very pretty." Sammy says and smiles.

Sunaina looks up and notices Raghav and Sammy looking at them. Raghav forces Sammy to give her a flying kiss and he closes his eyes. Sammy reluctantly gives a flying kiss and Sunaina gets shocked and embarrassed. She blushes and looks down while Kalpana starts teasing her as she has noticed the exchange of kisses from the second floor.

After 5 hours (12:00 p.m.), the mehndi ceremony starts and Kalpana applies mehndi on her hands instructing the women to write Raghav's name in small letters in the corner of her palm so that he is not able to find it for the entire night.

While she enters the kitchen to fetch for a glass of water, Raghav grabs her by her waist and says "How much I missed you love?"

"Raghav, leave. Raghav please, let me go." Kalpana pleads.

"No, first I want a big hug and a kiss, then I'll let you go." Raghav keeps a condition.

"Raghav. Please no. Bhabi's in laws will come here if I don't reach there in 5 minutes. They have been following me since morning." Kalpana says.

"No. First kiss then you can leave."

"Raghav. OK, come here."

She gives him a peck on his lips and rushes outside while he keeps calling out her name.

The sangeet ceremony starts and Sunaina gets dressed up in a green and red colored sari. She puts gajra and ties her hair in a bun. She puts ghungroos and Samar waits to just have a slight glimpse of her.

"I hope Kalpana does her steps properly." Sunaina's mother says.

"No mom. She is dancing on her own favorite song. I told her to do so." Sunaina answers.

"Why did you let her dance on her song? You know how naughty she is? What if she chooses a weird song? I am so scared of that girl."

"Mom, she is naught but smart as well. I am sure she will chose a good song. I trust her."

"Hmmm...Hope so. I still remember what she danced for your cousin's wedding. Inhi logon ne le lena duppatta mera (These people have taken away my scarf). I mean I was shocked when she started dancing on that song. A mujra song for a sangeet ceremony. All the people started cheering as she was dancing. Baba re baba, Kalpana my God."

Sunaina starts laughing and says "She was only 14 years mom. She did not even know the difference between a classical song and a mujra song. And I still remember she was just turning round and round innocently. She did not even have any steps in her song. Aahhh! My Kalpu has become so big. I just love her."

Kalpana goes to Raghav's room to check what the boys are performing on. She enters his room and notices that Raghav and Samar have decided to go to another place to practice.

"Damn. This Raghav is so smart. He chose another place to practice so that he can be better than the girls. Never. I will also give such a performance that he and the boys will realize that girls are no less than them."

She is about to leave the room when she finds a magazine on the table. She checks it and notices that her pic from the fashion show was chosen as the cover page. She starts jumping with joy but then opens the magazine and notices that her pics are separate and John's pics are separate. There was no pic where they were in one frame.

"This Raghav idiot. So much Jealousy. Wait, I'll give him such a surprise...No. Such a shock that he will learn a lesson of his life." Kalpana grumbles and leaves the room.

Everyone gather in the main hall of Singhania house. The cousins of Sunaina start performing on Mere Dholna sun song."

Raghav and Samar perform together on "Jashne Ishq ka" song from Gunday while Sunaina performs on "Dhoom tana tana" song from Om Shanti Om.

Vikram, Sunaina and Samar's parents start cheering for them and Raghav keeps waiting for Kalpana to perform.

The lights go off and some footsteps are heard. A girl puts her one hand up and one on her waist while a boy stands near her putting his hands around her waist. She pushes him as the music starts:

Ladke, O Re Ladke (O Guy!)

Kahan Se Aaya Hai Re Tu (Where have You come from?)

Pyara Hai Re Shakal Se (You have a lovely face)

Akal Ka Maara Hai Re Tu (But You have a foolish mind too)

The lights turns on. Raghav widens his eyes when he notices that the girl is Kalpi. She has worn a black ghagra (long skirt) and a green choli (blouse). He takes a drink in his hand and bites his lower lip as he observes her dance on the stage.

The light then focuses on the boy and Raghav spits out the drink when he notices John as Kalpana's dance partner.

Haan Jal Gayi, Haan Jal Gayi (Yes, You got burnt (envious))

Meri Baaton Se Tu Jal Gayi (You got burnt due to my talks)

Haan Khal Gayi, Tujhe Khal Gayi (Yes, it irritated you)

John holds the bottom of her skirt and and crawls on the ground while dancing. Raghav gets furious on watching them dance and feels like breaking the glass in his hand. Sunaina's mother hits her head with the hand saying "This girl. This time also she chose a mujre song for the sangeet. Chi Chi!" Sunaina tries to console her mom but her efforts go in vain.

Sammy starts cheering for them while Raghav looks angrily at him signalling to stop clapping.

At the end of the song, John carries Kalpana in his arms and spins around and all the guests including Samar's parents clap and Vikram for them and appreciate their dance.

Kalpana feels relieved as she goes to sleep in the night that she has finally taught him a lesson. She does not meet him as after this ceremony, the bride and groom cannot meet each other and this makes Raghav even more anxious to ask her the reason for dancing with John.

The next morning, the priest comes in and starts performing the rituals while Kalpana and Sunaina come dressed as brides and sit in the wedding mandap besides Raghav and Samar.

Sunaina, Samar, Kalpana and Raghav get up and take the seven steps around the fire. Raghav who has a problem with the smoke, holds a handkerchief before his nose and completes the ceremony. They all take blessings of Vikram, Sunaina's and Samar's parents.

The villagers greet the family and give them presents. John comes in with his wife and greets the couples. Raghav gives him a fake smile, cursing him in his mind. John shakes hand with Raghav saying "You both look so good as a couple. I am glad that my sister-like Kalpana has got a husband like you."

Kalpana bites her lips and Raghav widens his eyes on hearing this. Kalpana remembers how John had greeted her after the fashion show and said that she reminds him of his sister. The previous day, she had convinced John to come for the sangeet ceremony at the last moment by saying that since he considers her as a sister, it would be his responsibility to attend the ceremony and the marriage as her brother.
