The couples leave for the airport and Vikram bids them goodbye.

Kalpana starts praying to God as this is her first time and Raghav was sitting relaxed beside her.

Raghav starts laughing and says “First time I am witnessing my tigress so scared. Love, hold my hand. You’ll fear will vanish. Trust me.” He kisses her on the hand and assures her that she will be safe.

Kalpana cuddles him in her arms and rests her head in his shirt. Raghav holds her in his arms with one hand and caresses her face with the other.

Kalpana closes her eyes and starts breathing heavily as the flight takes off. Raghav kisses her forehead and says “Love, the flight has already taken off. Now, there’s nothing to get scared off. Open your eyes.”

Kalpana opens her eyes slowly and feels safe in Ragahv’s arms. She looks at him and then at his hand which she has been holding tight for quite a while. She notices marks on his wrist which were formed as her nails dug in his skin. His wrist and palm had turned red.

“I’m so sorry Raghav. Your hand is bleeding.” Kalpana says while blowing hot air on Raghav’s hand.

“I’m fine love. It’s not hurting.” Raghav assures her.

“I’m sorry.” Kalpana says while kissing Raghav’s wounds.

Raghav moves forward and says “What did you say?”

“What? I said I’m sorry.” Kalpana responds.

“You and saying sorry to me? How many miracles today?”

“Enough now. I’m going to sleep.” Kalpana starts yawning

An hour passes by…

“Sir, do you want a drink or snack?” The hostess asks which makes Kalpana wake up. She looks at her with a surprise and asks “Are you offering this for free?”

Raghav turns to face Kalpana requesting her to stop talking with his eye movements but Kalpana ignores him.

“Yes mam. There is no cost for these drinks and snacks.” The hostess answers with a smile.

“OK then. I’m taking this and you can bring more snacks for my husband.” Kalpana smiles and looks at Raghav who is currently frowning at her as she picks up 5 bottles of soft drinks and 7 burgers from the plate.

“You are going to finish all of this?” Raghav says sternly while pointing to the snacks.

“Of course. I can finish this all and I need to order for more as well.” Kalpana says teasing him.

Kalpana starts chewing the burger and finds the taste weird. She looks at Raghav who has been watching her all this while and says rudely “What do you want?” She looks at the burger and then at him saying “I’m not going to share this with you. And don’t look at me like this. My tummy will start paining.”

Raghav covers his face with his hand and rests his head on the seat. “What is she doing? God please don’t say what happened that day in the restaurant will happen here again. It’s so embarrassing.”

“This meal is so tasteless. It has no spices, nothing. How can I eat 6 more burgers? Did I make a mistake?....Ummm no, I dint. When they can charge so much for one ticket, why can’t I not make use of their services?” Kalpana thinks as she keeps munching on the burger and with each piece she feels like spitting it out and then takes a sip of the soft drink. “At least the drink tastes better because it is my Indian desi drink. Jai bharat mata ka.” She says while remembering her mother land.

The hostess comes and serves Raghav snacks and Kalpana asks her for a beer which makes Raghav drop the plate from his hand. He faces Kalpana who looks at him in confusion.

The hostess says “Yes mam. We will get you hard drinks.”

“You are drinking in a flight?” Raghav says while gritting his teeth.

“Why are you burning yourself in anger? You can drink for our wedding night so why can’t I do the same here? We are paying for this.”

Kalpana looks through the window and screams which makes Raghav jump off the seat.

“Wow! I can see a balloon in the air.” Kalpana says excitedly.

“What happened Kalpu? Everything’s fine.” Sunaina gets up from her seat and asks her.

“Nothing bhabi. Everything is fine.” Raghav assures her and whispers in Kalpi’s ear “That’s a cloud Kalpi. What’s wrong with you? Why are you screaming? Look, the other passengers are watching us with a frown.” Raghav says in a worried tone.

“Let them watch. In any case, they are so boring. No noise, no excitement. Just sitting here like corpses.”

“Kalpi, this is a flight and not a local train where people will be screaming and jumping. Please relax and for heaven’s sake, please keep quite till the end of our journey. I beg you.”

Kalpana murmurs to herself and keeps cursing Raghav.

After 2 hours…

“What was that?” Kalpana asks the hostess as she feels the flight shaking.

“Sorry mam. There was an issue faced by the pilot and now everything will be fine.” The hostess answers.

“I am worried. What if this flight crashes Raghav? I will die. Mummy, there have been so many incidents recently. Why dint I realize this? We should have gone by car instead.” Kalpana holds Raghav’s hand and rests her head on his shoulder.

“Don’t think negative love. We will be fine. By a car, we would have reached next year.”

“So a boat would have been fine. Why a flight?” Kalpana speaks softly and starts getting nervous.

A child who keep listening to the conversation starts giggling and Kalpana looks at him angrily saying "Why khi khi khi? It's not funny." This makes the child giggle more and he says "You're so big and getting scared while I'm only 7 and am so courageous. I don't get scared for such silly reasons."

Kalpana growls and says "You think I'm silly, you small mouse." She wants to get off her seat when Raghav holds her hand and forces her to sit down pleading the boy to stop teasing her.

“You’re drunk dear and now go to sleep.”

“What do you mean I'm drunk? I just took 2 sips of the beer.”

“I’m joking love and see bhabi and Sammy. Both are sleeping in each other’s arms. Now you too go to sleep and relax.”

Kalpana turns behind and feels happy while watching Sunaina and Sammy cuddle each other and sleep.

After few hours, the flight lands safely and the couples walk to the airport.

Kalpana goes to the washroom and Raghav stands outside holding the bags.

Raghav calls home and informs Vikram that the journey was safe and now they have reached Paris. He keeps talking on the phone and engages in a long conversation with Vikram. He notices a girl walking in a similar costume like Kalpana (blue top and back jeans) and follows her.

After 10 minutes, Kalpana comes out of the washroom and does not find Raghav anywhere nearby. She checks her pocket for her cell phone. “Oh no! Raghav has my cell phone. Where has he gone? Idiot, he left me alone here?”

Raghav keeps walking behind the girl and follows her blindly. She enters the restaurant and Raghav too enters behind her but after sometime, the girl goes out of Raghav’s site.

“Now where did she go?” Ragahv says to himself.

“What happened son? Everything’s fine?” Vikram asks over the phone.

“Yes dad. Dad, I’ll call you up later.” Raghav cuts the call and starts searching for Kalpana.

Kalpana asks a passenger if she has seen Raghav and she starts describing him saying that he has worn a white shirt and blue jeans and the person answers her “Je ne comprends pas (I don’t understand).”
